Stained Glass
Stained glass is the perfect way to brighten up your home and windows. All bespoke and purpose-made to suit your style. If you would like to discuss the option of stained glass or if you have a design already in mind please contact us and we will be happy to go through it with you.
Secondary Glazing
Secondary glazing is fitted to your current window. The second piece of glass is built to fit over your current window giving you better insulation. This is ideal for listed buildings that require their windows to be kept in their original state.
Patterned Glass
Patterned glass is perfect for windows or doors that are more private and allows you to keep natural light coming in. There are many designs and privacy levels to choose from. If you can’t find a design you like from our images please call us and we will find the style that suits you.
Glass Polishing
Glass polishing is used on the edges of glass table tops, glass shelves, glass splashbacks, mirrors etc This gives your item a smooth nice finish.
Glass Window & Door Repairs
We offer various repair services here at Crowborough Glassworks. Everything from Lead Light Repairs, Windows & Door Repairs and of course if you have any damage to your conservatory (not just the glass) we will be happy to take a look and get it repaired as soon as possible.
We will aim to fix any damage to windows or doors. We can order spare parts if needed or if the damage is too extensive we can arrange for new items to be fitted.
If your door isn’t closing properly or you're having trouble locking it, it may just need adjusting. Please call us to book an appointment and we will get someone out to you as soon as we can.
Safety Glass
We have a range of safety glass available to choose from depending on what it is needed for.
Toughened is processed to increase the strength of the glass. If the piece of glass were to break the glass would crumble into small granular pieces rather than splintered jagged shards making it less likely to cause injury.
Laminated glass is made up of layers of glass and plastic which are held together with an interlayer. If broken the interlayer would keep the glass in place and prevents large sharp pieces.
Wire mesh glass has a grid or mesh of thin wire running through the glass. If broken the wire would keep the piece of glass in one piece.
We can supply all of the above normally from stock, please call to discuss your requirements.
Mirror Glass Cutting Service
Of course, just like regular window glazing, we can cut your mirror glass to the shape and size you require too.
If you have a framed mirror that has broken we will happily replace the broken mirror and fit it into the original frame.
We can also come to your address and site measure if you require bespoke mirrors (good for gyms, bathrooms, splashbacks or any other application)
